FAQ

FAQs

  • Is there an age requirement to rent an RV?

Minimum of 25 years of age. For renters who are under the age of 25 but meet all other criteria we require a binder policy that covers the unit for the duration of the trip. This is on a case by case only.

  • What if my drivers license is expired?

Unfortunately we only permit those with a valid ID at this time. If you have a replacement coming but have not received it yet due to delays, you should have been given a paper copy with new dates, or emailed a printable copy. This is required for the checkin process.

  • What type of insurance do I need?

Please refer to our Insurance Page for more more detailed information.

  • Do I need to purchase the insurance?

Yes, insurance is required on all bookings. Bookings without insurance are subject to cancellation.

  • Why do I need to show proof of insurance and also buy insurance?

The insurance you carry for your vehicle covers the unit when it’s attached to the hitch for liability but does not cover damages or replacement cost in the event of a total loss. The insurance you are required to purchase per day covers the unit during transit, as well as when it’s parked on the campsite for liability, acts of nature or damage limited to the exterior for the duration of the rental period.

  • Do I need a truck to tow a trailer?

No. Towing can be done with many different types of vehicles. Most of our units can be towed with a mid size SUV. Please check your vehicles towing capacity, then carefully read the units description to find weight details.

  • What are the towing requirements?

Towing is allowed based on previous towing experience and your knowledge of setting up a travel trailer. This is offered on a case by case basis only. We encourage those who are not experienced in either to allow us to deliver and set up the unit for the ultimate camping experience.

  • What is your Pet policy?

*We welcome your fur friends! We do have weight & breed restrictions so we ask that you please send us a message prior to booking, a pet fee will be applied.

*Service animals are welcome, Emotional support animals will go through the same approval process as a non service animal. We advise you to check with campground rules & guidelines to ensure your fur friend is allowed on site.

*A strict no cat policy is enforced. Deposit will be forfeited if this rule is broken.

  • Do you offer delivery?

Yes we offer delivery to most all destinations, our base pricing starts at $7/mile roundtrip or $3.50/mile one way with a $175 minimum delivery charge.

We will come back on your departure date on the scheduled pick up time to tear down and haul away. All you have to do is show up with your family and desired personal items and we’ll handle the rest.
